My Journeys
Greetings friends, M y name is Morria, though I have also been known as Michelle and Monica (my other names) in my day. I hovered at the edges of the Goth culture since 1996, fully embracing it in 2002 shortly after the Twin Towers fell. Being both Christian and a Goth, it was not an easy road. I worked in subculture ministry from 2002-2008, and then on the mission field from 2009-2018. 2019-Present, we have been attending Cowboy Church, where my husband is being trained in Church planting and pastoral care before we return again to the Southwest. Yet still, beneath it all, my gothic cultural self never left. No matter how much I have tried to fit in with the cultures around us, I am not a true rewilder, a Cowgirl, or even really a steampunk (though I have some steamgoth tendencies) .
